Na Kani O Hula has been doing demonstrations and teaching classes and workshops on the making of various hula instruments since 1995.

We are now able to offer workshops on our farm in Kula, where you will be able to see many of the plants that will be used. We can also do workshops at other locations on request.  Please dress comfortably and bring a jacket (it can get a bit chilly sometimes).  Depending on which instrument you are making, it can take 2 to 4 hours or more to complete, so you may also wish to bring a snack.

Workshops are by appointment only.  

A minimum of 2 students is preferred and up to 20 can be accommodated.
