Ti-leaf Adventure

A couple of days ago we went to our friend Tracy’s place to get some ti-leaf starts.  He has this fantastic talapia and ti-leaf farm in Haiku and has always been so generous and hospitable.  I have to say, he has the most beautiful la’amia tree there. But the highlight of our visit was trying to catch the giant talapia in the pond….super fun! We’ve known Tracy for a long time….way back when we used to paddle canoe, he coached the kids’ crews.  Anyway, if you’re ever in the market for a house on Maui (or need to sell one), contact Tracy Stice.

Today, besides planting all the ti-leaf, we also had a visit from Lani and a few of her students.  They enjoyed choosing their special ipu and will be making their own ipuheke soon.
